Private Beta Privacy Notice
Privacy should travel with you.
Effective October 10, 2026. This notice describes how the current VAYNOM Cartagena private beta handles information. The product and this notice may evolve as the beta changes.
Information VAYNOM uses
During the private beta, VAYNOM may use account identity information from Google sign-in, your traveler profile, trip dates and plans, itinerary items, messages, Circles and MeetSafe activity, Guardian and recovery state, service or Concierge requests, incident and safety reports, and privacy-bounded product analytics. Precise location is used only when you explicitly start an expiring location share.
How the information is used
VAYNOM uses this information to operate and secure the beta, personalize trip context, provide destination guidance, support safety workflows, connect invited travelers, coordinate requested services, investigate private safety reports, and understand whether the product is useful enough to improve.
Location and safety data
Precise location sharing is permission-driven, conversation-scoped, revocable by the sharer, and limited to 15-minute, 1-hour, or 4-hour windows. Guardian, MeetSafe, incident, audit, and safety records may be kept separately from disappearing chat because they support safety, integrity, and review workflows.
Sharing with others
VAYNOM does not make your exact location or private safety records public. Information may be shared with the specific travelers you choose to connect with, a trusted contact when you create a Guardian status link, and a reviewed local partner when you request a service that requires fulfillment. Infrastructure and authentication providers process limited information needed to run the service.
Messages and retention
Some conversations support Off, 24-hour, or 7-day disappearing-message settings for new messages. Expiring location shares are stored separately from message history. Safety reports, audit records, booking records, and other operational records may be retained longer when needed to operate the beta, protect users, or preserve accountability.
Your choices
You control profile visibility, traveler discovery settings, location sharing, trusted-contact links, and whether to submit certain reports or service requests. During private beta, questions about your account or requests concerning your data can be raised through VAYNOM Help or Concierge. VAYNOM may need to verify the requester before acting on an account-level request.
Important beta note
VAYNOM is not an emergency dispatch service. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Safety features are designed to add support and context, not guarantee safety or a particular outcome.
